A Working Author's Job is Never Done

I just spent my entire Sunday working on some (bill paying) freelance work so I can make sure my schedule is somewhat cleared next week – and thus be able to concentrate on the novel and get over that bloody hump of hating the beginning.

Really, there is no such thing as a "weekend" when you are a fulltime writer. There are occasional, random days off to do other, non-writing things but I found that I work every day on something writing related. Not always the novel. Sometimes it is TEoP. Sometimes is it the RPG work. Sometimes it is the bill paying freelance work. People look at me funny when I ask what day of the week it is. I don't have "week ends." They don't understand.

For me, weekends are when I have to feel guilty if I'm working, cuz the kiddo and hubby are home. Ditto with holidays/vacations and summer.
