Book Plates? Help me Interwebs!

So... there is a tiny chance that Grants Pass won't actually make it to GenCon. There is literally nothing I can do about this except what I have already done.

I'm over my panic at this (with a little help from mlvwrites) and am on my way to figuring out what to do if the worst comes about.

1. I can take pre-orders.

2. I can have book plates there for me, Ivan and Ed to sign.

3. I will have Mastication and Tasty there for sale, along with promos from Apex, Wily Writers and Crossed Genres.

Now, the question is... where do I get book plates that will ship to me in 1-2 days. Or, should I figure out a way to make them myself?

Help me Interwebs! You're my only hope!

Edit: Not 30 seconds after I put this up, my publisher emailed me and told me that the problem with the book had been solved and it was on to processing and ordering. I think the crisis has been averted. I hope.

They're not that hard to make

If you have a simple line drawing image to put on them, I've seen people use shipping labels or badge labels to make bookplates.

You need a good printer, a simple image that fits well within the label space and maybe an extra couple sheets in case the first one screws up.

You can find label sheets at any office supply store. And then you don't have to hope and pray that they make it on time.

If you have a local Kinko's they might be able to help you too. I know ours down here does labels, business cards, banners and all that.
